Flower delivery to Kozlov from an Olomouc florist
The independent municipality of Kozlov, including the local part of Slavkov, was established on 1 January 2016 after separating from the Libavá military training area. It lies in the Oderské vrchy hills, on the edge of the Libavá military training area. Kozlov is beside the road between Velký Újezd and Potštát, at an elevation of 620 metres.
Kozlov’s landmark is the Church of St Joseph, built in 1927, with a former German cemetery nearby. The cultural centre in Slavkov near Kozlov was created after 1965 by converting the parish church of St Francis Seraphicus, built in 1763. A red-marked hiking trail leads from Kozlov to a chapel above the source of the Odra; the chapel was restored in 1910. The 13th-century ruins of Drahotuš Castle also lie within Slavkov’s cadastral area and are protected as a cultural monument.
