Flower delivery to Jívová from Olomouc

Jívová lies in the Nízký Jeseník uplands, about 7 km east of Šternberk. The municipal office stands in the centre of the village. The municipality runs a primary school and a nursery school; the primary school has a first stage, an after-school club and a school dining hall.

The Baroque Church of St Bartholomew, built between 1717 and 1720, is decorated with frescoes by the painter Jan Kryštof Handke from Olomouc. The remains of Tepenec Castle lie about 2.5 km south-west of the village; the castle was first mentioned in 1340 and is protected as a cultural monument. The sports shooting complex, opened in autumn 2019, offers a shooting range, accommodation and refreshments.
