Flower delivery in Charváty from an Olomouc florist

Charváty lies on the road from Olomouc to Tovačov. The first mention, in 1347, identifies Vicen of Charváty as the holder of part of the village. The municipal office is in the building of a former agricultural dairy and also administers the local parts of Drahlov and Čertoryje.

The parish Church of St John the Baptist was built in 1582. After a fire in 1882, it was rebuilt in its present form. Saint Jan Sarkander served as a priest at the rectory in Charváty from 1610 to 1611.
