Flower Delivery to Blatec from an Olomouc Florist

Blatec is a village in the Haná region. It lies between the Morava River to the east and the Blata River to the west. The Nezamyslice–Olomouc railway line has a station in the village.

The monumental municipal building dominates the village square; it was built in 1886–1887. Its hall hosts balls and community events. The Chapel of St Margaret on the square was first mentioned in 1804, and a statue of St Linhart dating from 1771 also stands in the village. Blatec was formerly called Velké Tážaly, and residents built their own school there in 1874.
