The municipality of Bělkovice-Lašťany lies about 6 km south of Šternberk. It was formed in 1960 when Bělkovice and Lašťany were joined; Trusovický potok separates the two.

In Bělkovice-Lašťany stand the Chapel of Our Lady of Częstochowa, dating from 1710, and the Chapel of St Florian, dating from 1802.
