Flower delivery to Babice from a local florist

Babice lies in the foothills of the Nízký Jeseník range, about three kilometres north-west of Šternberk. The municipal office is based in Babice. The municipality runs a primary school linked with a nursery. Both are based in Babice.

The landmark of the village square is the neoclassical All Saints' Church, dating from the late 18th century. The parish church is recorded here as early as 1339. In 1958, a priest from Šternberk discovered a 14th-century Madonna statuette in a chapel in Babice. It is now known as the Šternberk Madonna and is kept at Šternberk Castle. A Baroque wayside shrine from the late 18th century stands on the road from Babice to Krakořice.
